Getac unveiled the B360 Plus, the first Copilot+ all-terrain portable device that combines advanced edge AI capabilities with a military-grade rugged design.

This device is engineered to perform in the most demanding environments, where reliability and autonomy are paramount.

The launch comes at a time when rugged devices and local artificial intelligence are transforming operational technology in critical sectors.

The B360 Plus sets a milestone by integrating Intel Core Ultra processors with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of performing up to 48 trillion operations per second (TOPS), enabling Copilot+ functions to run directly on the device without relying on cloud connectivity.

James Hwang, President of Getac Technology Corporation, states:

“With the B360 Plus, we bring artificial intelligence to the edge — right where decisions are made and reliability is non-negotiable. This notebook combines power, portability, and ruggedness like no other on the market.”

Ruggedness for Extreme Conditions.

The new B360 Plus has been independently certified to meet MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G military standards, as well as IP66 ingress protection rating, ensuring resistance to water, dust, vibration, impact, and salt fog.

It operates within a temperature range of -20 °F to 145 °F (-29 °C to 63 °C) and can withstand drops of up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) while in use.

For high-risk industries, the notebook can be configured as an intrinsically safe device compliant with ANSI/UL 121201 (Class 1 Division 2) standards, suitable for explosive or industrial hazard zones.

Getac experts add:

“Every component of the B360 Plus is designed to withstand the unexpected: extreme temperatures, shocks, vibrations, or disconnections. It’s a solution built for those who can’t afford to stop.”

Autonomy without Constant Connectivity.

The device is built to handle intensive AI-embedded tasks, analyze real-time data offline, automate workflows, reduce errors, and enable interaction through natural language and contextual recognition.

All of this can be accomplished even on the move, in rain, or under extreme heat.

The laptop features a 13.3-inch sunlight-readable touchscreen, hot-swappable batteries, Thunderbolt 4, VGA, serial ports, and advanced connectivity with Wi-Fi 7, as well as options for 4G/5G, GPS, and card readers.

Its versatility makes it an ideal tool for field operations and industries such as logistics, defense, and energy.

Growth in the Specialized Market.

The launch of the B360 Plus occurs amid a growing market sector.

According to Precedence Research, the global edge AI market will reach USD 20.97 billion by 2025 and grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20.1% through 2032 (source: Edge AI Market Size, 2024–2032).

Concurrently, GlobalData projects the rugged computers and tablets market to reach USD 6.078 billion by 2025, driven by the demand for reliable solutions in critical operational environments (Rugged Computing Market Forecast, 2025).
