AI adoption will be a decisive factor for companies in the future. Google Cloud Next 2025 presented 5 key technological advancements that will shape the global direction.
The Google Cloud Next 2025 event brought together over 700 sessions, 350 technology partners, and thousands of attendees in Las Vegas, establishing itself as the primary platform to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping the future of work, creativity, and business infrastructure globally.
Orion, a strategic partner of Google Cloud, participated with a delegation led by its CEO, Carlos Honorato, and Jorge Alonzo, Google Partner Manager at Orion. During their presentation, they highlighted five key trends that will guide the technological trajectory in the coming years.
1. More advanced and faster AI models.
Google introduced enhanced versions of its Gemini models, such as Gemini 1.5 Flash, along with new innovations like Imagen 3, Chirp 3, and Lyria.
These tools are capable of generating images, music, audio, and personalized voices in just ten seconds of sampling.
They will be available through Vertex AI and AI Studio, enabling new ways to create, reason, and automate processes at the enterprise level.
Tools such as the Agent Development Kit (ADK), Agent Engine, and Agent Space were introduced, designed for the creation of collaborative agents capable of making decisions and executing complex workflows autonomously.
These solutions optimize the way organizations integrate AI into their operations and automate processes, enhancing business productivity.
3. Next-generation infrastructure for AI workloads.
Google Cloud also revealed its new AI Hypercomputer architecture, which integrates high computational power, energy efficiency, and scalability.
Among its most notable components are TPU v5p (Ironwood), NVIDIA Vera Rubin GPUs, and virtual machines optimized with AMD and Intel processors.
These technologies are designed to train and deploy advanced models with lower latency and greater flexibility.
4. Ultra-fast storage and integrated development.
The event also introduced innovations such as Hyperdisk Exapools, Rapid Object Storage, and Anywhere Cache, which reduce latency to less than one millisecond and enable real-time processing of large data volumes.
Additionally, the integration of Gemini with development environments such as VS Code and the expansion of Vertex AI Model Garden solidify an accessible ecosystem for developers and technical teams.
5. Security, compliance, and interoperability as pillars.
Security was a central theme, with the launch of Google Unified Security (GUS) and the execution of Gemini in Google Distributed Cloud environments, ensuring privacy, confidential computing, and regulatory compliance.
Furthermore, the adoption of open standards such as MCP and ADA facilitates greater collaboration across clouds and with strategic partners like Adobe, Salesforce, and Dell.
Carlos Honorato, CEO of Orion, commented:
