Hikvision receives ESG award from Dubai free zone

ESG criteria continue to gain prominence within corporate growth strategies and global corporate assessments.
Hikvision was recognized by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) for advances in sustainability, governance, and technological development.
Hikvision received the ESG DMCC Global Enterprise Leader award, granted by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), an award that evaluates corporate performance under international sustainability criteria.
The DMCC, considered by fDi Intelligence of the Financial Times as the world’s leading free zone, is home to more than 26,000 companies and evaluates corporate performance based on criteria related to sustainability, operational efficiency, and corporate compliance.

According to the organization, the recognition for Hikvision reflects the integration of ESG criteria into its operations and the development of solutions based on Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (AIoT).
The award highlights the company’s progress in areas related to energy efficiency, emissions reduction, social impact, and governance practices.
Environmental and social impact.
On the environmental front, Hikvision said it has implemented measures focused on energy efficiency and emissions reduction within its value chain. The company also stated that its WonderHub solution obtained the TCO Certified Generation 10 certification in 2025, focused on environmental standards for electronic devices.
On the social front, the recognition included initiatives developed through the global STAR program, through which the company has collaborated with more than 30 organizations in 14 countries on projects focused on the protection of natural and cultural heritage.
At the local level, Hikvision also mentioned community activities carried out in Dubai during Ramadan.
Governance and compliance.
On the governance front, the company highlighted certifications such as ISO 37301 in compliance management, in addition to policies related to cybersecurity, data protection, and human rights.
The recognition follows Hikvision’s participation in the United Nations Global Compact in 2024, an initiative focused on global sustainability standards.
