Hikvision reports profit growth driven by AIoT and AI expansion

Hikvision reported sustained growth in revenue and profits throughout 2025 and the beginning of 2026, driven by the expansion of its AIoT strategy and the growth of artificial intelligence-based solutions.
Hikvision presented its financial results for fiscal year 2025 and the first quarter of 2026, reporting profit growth, international expansion and progress in its strategy focused on artificial intelligence and AIoT.
During fiscal year 2025, the company recorded total revenue of RMB 92.51 billion, equivalent to USD 12.95 billion, representing a year-over-year increase of 0.01%. Net profit reached RMB 14.20 billion, equivalent to USD 1.99 billion, reflecting growth of 18.52% compared with the previous year.
Hikvision also announced a total estimated cash dividend of RMB 10.54 billion, equivalent to USD 1.48 billion for 2025, with a payout ratio of 74.25%.
The company maintained positive momentum entering 2026. During the first quarter, revenue reached RMB 20.72 billion, equivalent to USD 2.90 billion, representing year-over-year growth of 11.78%.
Quarterly net profit increased 36.42% to RMB 2.78 billion, equivalent to USD 0.39 billion. Gross margin also improved by 4.16 percentage points, reaching 49.09%.
International expansion and AIoT.
According to the company, part of the growth was driven by the expansion of its AIoT strategy and by the performance of businesses linked to artificial intelligence, automation and solutions beyond traditional video security.
During 2025, revenue from international markets reached RMB 27.22 billion, equivalent to USD 3.81 billion, accounting for 29.42% of the company’s total revenue. Hikvision also highlighted sustained growth across emerging markets.
The company stated that categories such as access control, alarm systems and commercial displays recorded accelerated growth and consolidated their role as important revenue drivers.
At the same time, its innovation business generated RMB 25.45 billion, equivalent to USD 3.56 billion, contributing 27.51% of total revenue during the reported period.
Hikvision added that these results strengthen its ability to support integrators, distributors and enterprises seeking more scalable security solutions prepared for evolving technological environments.
AI and Guanlan models.
Hikvision stated that it continues expanding its AIoT capabilities through the development of large-scale Guanlan artificial intelligence models designed to integrate vision, language and multimodal analytics capabilities into its products.
According to the company, these technologies improve accuracy and efficiency in complex environments. Among the examples presented was the use of audio models for industrial quality inspection, where the detection rate for defective components increased by 70%.
The company also noted that it is already deploying specialized models for sectors including smart manufacturing, logistics and environmental protection.
Investment in research.
Hikvision emphasized that technological innovation continues to represent one of its main growth drivers. During 2025, the company invested RMB 11.75 billion, equivalent to USD 1.65 billion, in research and development, representing 12.70% of total revenue.
According to Hikvision, cumulative investment in research and development over the past six years exceeded USD 8 billion, consistently allocating more than 10% of revenue to research activities.
By the end of 2025, Hikvision held 12,981 authorized patents globally, 57% of which corresponded to invention patents.
Long-term strategy.
The company stated that these results reflect its long-term growth strategy based on technological innovation, AIoT development and operational strengthening across international markets.
