DMCC awards ESG recognition to Hikvision for sustainability

Certain business decisions do not only transform companies, but also reshape how the world understands progress. At the intersection of technology, environmental impact, and social responsibility, some organizations are beginning to make a visible difference.
Within this context, the ESG DMCC Global Enterprise Leader Award highlights companies that are redefining growth through sustainability criteria, and in its most recent edition it included Hikvision for its advances in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.
The recognition, granted by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, considered the world’s leading free zone by fDi Intelligence from the Financial Times, distinguishes companies that align their corporate performance with international standards and the national priorities of the United Arab Emirates.
This entity brings together more than 26,000 companies and assesses their performance based on sustainability and corporate responsibility criteria.
Global ESG recognition.
In this context, Hikvision was recognized for integrating sustainability into its business strategy, particularly through the development of solutions based on artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (AIoT), as well as its focus on long-term value creation.
The award is structured around three main pillars that define the scope of the recognition:
Environmental development: the company has incorporated energy efficiency practices and emissions reduction across its value chain. In line with these efforts, its WonderHub solution received the TCO Certified Generation 10 certification in 2025, focused on the environmental performance of electronic devices.
Social impact: through initiatives such as the global STAR program, Hikvision has collaborated with more than 30 organizations in 14 countries on initiatives to protect natural and cultural heritage. At the local level, it has also promoted community activities, such as support campaigns during Ramadan in Dubai.
Governance and compliance: the company holds international certifications such as ISO 37301 in compliance management and maintains policies in areas including cybersecurity, data protection, and human rights across its operations.
This recognition adds to Hikvision’s accession to the United Nations Global Compact in 2024, reinforcing its alignment with global sustainability standards and its commitment to international principles of corporate responsibility.
