“AI manifests in F1 in many different ways. Teams are using it to become more efficient. Like in all industries, we’ve had to focus on being lean and effective, allowing us to accomplish tasks we no longer have the manpower for. As F1 broadcasters, we use AWS to deliver insights and data to fans at home through on-screen graphics that help predict undercuts or time lost in the pits. In fact, we use something called TrackPulse, which runs behind the scenes to help us direct the global broadcast and ensure we highlight the action on screen and bring the imagery to you at home. It enables us to extract data very, very efficiently.”
