Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has released the Digital Twindex Report: Future-Ready Mobility 2026, highlighting how artificial intelligence, digital twins, and software-defined architectures are redefining the way we move and produce.

The report, unveiled at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, shows that vehicles, factories, fleets, and supply chains are evolving into adaptive systems that learn continuously, enhancing safety, reliability, and sustainability.

Five key takeaways from the TCS Digital Twindex Report: Future-Ready Mobility 2026:

1) Intelligence is shifting from initial design to tangible outcomes in real-world mobility, as software-defined vehicles, adaptive factories, and connected platforms mature simultaneously.

2) Engineering and manufacturing are evolving into intelligence-driven systems, enabling continuous learning, faster decision-making, and greater resilience across the product and production lifecycle.
