TCS becomes first global integrator to operate Mistral Forg
The race to move artificial intelligence from experimentation to production environments is driving new alliances among global technology providers.
Tata Consultancy Services became the first global systems integrator to operate Mistral Forge, a platform designed to build AI models tailored to enterprise and government requirements.
Organizations are increasingly seeking artificial intelligence models capable of operating with proprietary data and addressing industry-specific requirements.
Tata Consultancy Services and Mistral AI announced a strategic alliance aimed at accelerating the development and deployment of customized AI systems across enterprises and public-sector organizations.
As part of the agreement, TCS will become the first global systems integrator (GSI) to operate Mistral Forge, a platform designed to enable organizations to build and fine-tune artificial intelligence models using proprietary knowledge and industry-specific data.
According to the companies, the partnership is the first of its kind between Mistral and a global systems integrator, combining AI model development capabilities with expertise in technology integration, digital transformation and sector-specific consulting.
The initiative is intended to facilitate the design, training and deployment of AI systems tailored to complex enterprise environments, including regulated industries and organizations requiring greater control over data and operational processes.
Center of Excellence for enterprise AI.
A central component of the alliance will be the creation of a dedicated Mistral Center of Excellence focused on applied research, specialized talent development and the creation of AI-based solutions.
According to TCS, the center will also provide early access to new models and technologies developed by the French AI company while accelerating implementation processes for enterprise customers.
The initiative will additionally focus on adapting solutions to regulatory and operational requirements across different markets.
Industry-specific AI development.
The companies stated that one of the alliance’s primary objectives is to support the development of AI solutions tailored to industries such as banking, retail, energy and utilities.
The partnership also seeks to address growing requirements related to digital sovereignty, data regulation and market-specific operational needs.

In Latin America, the addition of Mistral Forge to TCS’s portfolio could broaden access to customized artificial intelligence tools for organizations in sectors such as financial services, retail, energy and utilities—capabilities that have historically been concentrated among larger enterprises in more developed markets.
The alliance also aligns with TCS’s broader strategy of integrating artificial intelligence across infrastructure, models, data, applications and platforms as part of its effort to expand enterprise AI adoption at a global scale.
