Schneider Electric and NVIDIA drive the new era of green AI

Schneider Electric and NVIDIA have announced a strategic alliance to develop sustainable, optimized infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI), in response to growing global demand and aligned with Europe’s goals in this field.
The collaboration focuses on research and development (R&D) projects in energy systems, cooling technologies, controls, and high-density rack solutions to enable the next generation of AI factories across Europe and beyond.

The agreement was unveiled at the NVIDIA GTC event in Paris and aims to support the European Union’s “InvestAI” initiative, which seeks to mobilize €200 billion in AI investments.
This joint effort aligns with the European Commission’s Action Plan for an AI-Powered Continent, which includes the creation of at least 13 AI factories and up to five megafactories across the region.
Olivier Blum, CEO of Schneider Electric, emphasized the significance of the partnership:

Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, added:

As part of the announcement, Schneider Electric introduced new AI-ready data center solutions, including the EcoStruxure™ Pod and Rack infrastructure. This prefabricated modular data center is designed to accelerate the global deployment of AI data centers through a scalable, pod-based architecture. In addition, a new rack system inspired by the Open Compute Project (OCP) was introduced. It supports the GB200 NVL72 platform and the modular MGX architecture, marking Schneider Electric’s debut in the HGX and MGX ecosystems.
Innovation and the Future.
These advancements build on recent milestones, such as the launch of the world’s first digital twin for large-scale electrical and power systems in AI factories—developed by Schneider Electric and ETAP using NVIDIA Omniverse Blueprint technology.
The two companies have also co-developed electrical designs and liquid cooling systems, including technologies from the Motivair portfolio, which Schneider Electric acquired in March 2025.
As an approved CDU unit supplier for NVIDIA, Schneider Electric further strengthens its commitment to innovation in AI infrastructure.
Both companies confirmed they will continue to accelerate the development and deployment of new products and technologies to build the AI factories of the future, reinforcing this global alliance between leaders in sustainability and accelerated computing.
