Biwin unveils Gen5 SSDs for AI and gaming workloads

COMPUTEX 2026 will highlight rising demand for Gen5 storage and high-capacity memory tied to AI and gaming applications.

Demand for high-performance storage and memory continues to grow alongside advances in AI, gaming, and content creation.

Biwin will present a new line of solutions at COMPUTEX 2026 focused on demanding workloads and mobile computing.

Biwin announced its participation in COMPUTEX 2026, which will take place from June 2 to 5 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, where it will present new memory solutions, SSD storage, and portable devices aimed at AI, gaming, and content creation.

According to the company, the exhibition will include DDR5 memory products, PCIe Gen5 SSDs, portable storage, and professional multimedia storage solutions designed for intensive workloads and high-performance computing environments.

Memory and Gen5 SSDs.

Among the new products is the DDR5 Black Opal OC Lab Gold Edition DW100 RGB memory, available in a 192 GB configuration, aimed at applications related to AI models, real-time rendering, and advanced multitasking.

Cesar Moyano, Regional Sales Director at Biwin, explains:

“With a 192 GB configuration (48 GB × 4) and optimized DDR5-6000 CL28 performance, our DDR5 Black Opal OC Lab Gold Edition DW100 memory is designed for high-performance systems that cannot compromise on either capacity or speed. It enables smooth handling of large AI models, real-time rendering, and intensive multitasking workloads, significantly reducing bottlenecks in data-intensive environments”.

The company will also showcase the PCIe Gen5 Black Opal X570 PRO SSD, which reaches read speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 13,000 MB/s, while also integrating DRAM cache and designed for AI workloads, video editing, and gaming.

Portable and gaming solutions.

Among its portable solutions, Biwin will present the Amber PX4000 SSD, with read speeds of up to 3,900 MB/s and capacities of up to 8 TB. The device includes IP67-rated water and dust resistance and compatibility with multiple platforms.

Moyano adds:

“Designed for performance beyond the desktop, the PX4000 enables fast data access for high-resolution content, field production, and edge AI workflows”.

Another highlighted solution will be the Biwin Amber CB500 CFexpress 4.0 Type B card, presented by the company as the first CFexpress Type B card with VPG800 certification, aimed at 8K and 12K RAW video recording in audiovisual production environments.

Biwin will also showcase the Amber ME300 microSD Express card, based on PCIe NVMe architecture and designed for portable and next-generation gaming devices, alongside the Mini SSD CL100 and the RD510 Mini SSD reader for mobile workflows and compact devices.

Infrastructure for AI.

The executive also states:

“From high-capacity memory and PCIe Gen5 SSDs to professional multimedia storage and portable solutions, Biwin’s lineup at COMPUTEX 2026 reflects a unified vision: delivering scalable high-performance memory and storage that adapts to increasingly data-intensive applications”.

The company said these solutions are intended to address the growth of AI-driven applications, content creation, and high-speed data processing in mobile and high-performance environments.
