Swift AI: Acer laptops embrace integrated AI

Can a computer adapt to the pace and needs of its user?
Acer introduces a new generation of laptops with built-in artificial intelligence.
The relationship between technology and people continues to evolve. In this context, Acer has unveiled its new Swift AI portfolio, a line of Copilot+ PCs with Windows 11 that incorporates AI capabilities directly into the device, aimed at productivity, content creation, and professional mobile use.
The portfolio includes the Swift 16 AI, Swift Edge AI, and Swift Go AI models, with the latter available in 14- and 16-inch versions. The focus is on combining next-generation processors with integrated AI features designed to operate without constant reliance on the cloud.
Local Integrated AI
Swift AI laptops include AI tools developed by Acer, such as PurifiedVoice, PurifiedView, and User Sensing, designed to enhance daily experiences and performance in video calls.
They also allow users to download additional applications from Acer Intelligence Space. For interaction, they feature the Acer My Key button, which can be customized to provide direct access to apps, websites, or operating system functions.
Swift 16 AI: Focus on Performance and Creative Work.
The Acer Swift 16 AI (SF16-71T) is the largest model in the lineup. It features an aluminum chassis and is equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processor and Intel Arc B390 graphics—a combination designed for tasks such as content editing and managing large files.
One of its distinguishing features is a large-format haptic touchpad with a 16:10 aspect ratio and MPP 2.5 stylus support. This touchpad can be used as an input surface for drawing, editing, or modeling. The design reduces the use of moving parts and is protected by a Corning® Gorilla® Glass cover.
The laptop includes a 16-inch OLED touchscreen with 3K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 500 certification, and full DCI-P3 color coverage.
For audio, it integrates dual DTS®:X Ultra speakers, along with an FHD IR camera compatible with Windows Hello for facial recognition login.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 or higher, and ports such as Thunderbolt™ 4, USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1, and a MicroSD slot.
Portability and Durability
The Swift Edge 14 AI (SFE14-I51/T) and Swift Edge 16 AI (SFE16-I51/T) models are designed for mobile users who need lightweight devices for work on the go. Both feature MIL-STD 810H military-grade certification and a chassis made of stainless steel and magnesium alloy.
The 14-inch model weighs less than one kilogram and measures just 13.95 mm in thickness. These laptops are powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor, supporting up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory and up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. According to Acer, this configuration ensures stable performance and extended battery life.
The OLED WQXGA+ 3K touchscreens with 120 Hz refresh rate are suitable for both professional tasks and media consumption. Multi-touch touchpads simplify media management, presentations, and videoconferencing controls.
For security and communication, they include FHD IR cameras with human presence detection, DTS:X Ultra speakers with anti-vibration technology, and PurifiedVoice AI-assisted noise reduction. Additional connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and ports such as Thunderbolt™ 4 Type-C, USB Type-A, and HDMI 2.1.
Smart Daily Balance
The Swift Go 14 AI (SFG14-I71/T) and Swift Go 16 AI (SFG16-I71/T) complete the lineup as options for users seeking a balance between performance and portability. They are equipped with up to an Intel® Core™ Ultra X9 388H processor, Intel® Arc™ B390 graphics, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory, and up to 1 TB of M.2 SSD storage.
These laptops feature an aluminum chassis with a 180-degree hinge and OLED touchscreen options in WUXGA 2K and WQXGA+ 3K resolutions. They include 5 MP IR cameras with high dynamic range and human presence detection, dual DTS:X Ultra speakers, multi-touch touchpads, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity. The port selection includes two Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-A, and HDMI 2.1.
All Swift AI models belong to the Copilot+ PC category with Windows 11. Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, they enable features such as Click to Do, which facilitates contextual actions based on the content displayed on screen.
They also integrate Windows Copilot as an AI assistant. Key functions include Copilot Voice, enabling voice interaction, and Copilot Vision, which provides contextual information about applications and on-screen content when activated by the user.
With the Swift AI lineup, Acer expands its technology offerings in a market where integrated AI is becoming increasingly embedded in the everyday use of personal computers.
