From June 30 to July 4, 2025, Schneider Electric brought together clients and industry leaders at the event “AI Ready Data Centers Europe,” an exclusive experience that provided first-hand insight into how the company is transforming the data center industry to address the challenges of artificial intelligence with sustainable and scalable solutions.

Over five days, attendees toured two key experience centers in Europe. In Sant Boi de Llobregat, Spain, they visited the modular prefabricated data center assembly factory, where they observed in real time the construction of AI-ready scalable infrastructures.

Guided by Schneider Electric experts, they explored every stage of the design, manufacturing, and assembly of the modules, with a particular focus on energy efficiency, reduced deployment times, and sustainability.

Technical Visit Across Two Countries.

Subsequently, in Conselve, Italy, participants visited the Data Center Cooling Innovation Center, where advanced liquid cooling solutions, high-density systems, and thermal management technologies were showcased—designed to meet the demands of new AI clusters.

Through technical sessions and live demonstrations, attendees gained an understanding of how these technologies integrate intelligently with digital infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and environmental responsibility.

The event also provided a platform for discussing the sector’s future. Global spokespersons such as Marc Faig, General Manager of International PreFab Modular Data Centers, and Alberto Caporali, Cooling Sales Director, shared their vision of how Schneider Electric is embedding automation, digitalization, and sustainability into every phase of the process.

Uniting AI and Sustainability.

The company reaffirmed its vision of AI’s transformative impact on the industry.

Under the concept “grid to chip and chip to chiller,” Schneider Electric presented a comprehensive offering for data centers featuring high-density infrastructure, advanced digitalization, and energy efficiency.

Luis Santamaría, a global spokesperson for the multinational, stated:

Together, they are developing next-generation solutions in power management, cooling, high-density racks, and automation—designed for data centers capable of handling loads exceeding 1 MW.

Contrary to the notion that AI advancement jeopardizes sustainability, Schneider Electric demonstrated that both objectives can coexist.

Thanks to technologies such as digital twins, modular designs, and advanced energy management systems, it is possible to plan, implement, and operate data centers that maximize efficiency and minimize environmental impact.

During the event, attendees engaged with global experts, learned from success stories, and explored how clients like Equinix, Digital Realty, and Iron Mountain are building AI-scalable data centers without compromising sustainability.

Faced with the rapid growth of AI-driven workloads, data center operators must scale quickly, efficiently, and responsibly.

To meet this need, Schneider Electric offers a comprehensive proposal—from the grid to the chip and cooling systems—integrating sustainability consulting, technical expertise, and a robust portfolio of solutions.

This leadership is reflected in their global results: in 2023 alone, the company contributed to the construction of 7.5 GW of new data centers in the cloud and service provider segment, deployed across 35 countries and six continents.

Moreover, 21% of their global orders came directly from the data center and networking sector.
