With the objective of making the development processes of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) safer, more efficient, and faster, GlobalLogic—a Hitachi Group company specialized in digital engineering—has announced a strategic alliance with PlaxidityX, a cybersecurity specialist for the automotive industry.

This collaboration involves creating a consistent cloud framework for SDVs that enables manufacturers and suppliers to accelerate software development lifecycles, reduce engineering costs, and ensure high security standards.

Automotive Digital Transformation.

Over the past decade, the automotive sector has undergone profound digital transformation through the integration of connected systems and intelligent services.

However, this progress has also brought increased exposure to cyber threats.

To address these risks, GlobalLogic will integrate PlaxidityX’s DevSecOps platform into its SDV Cloud Framework—a solution that enables building, testing, and deploying software in a cloud environment with access to real hardware and continuous updates.
